The work of maintaining the building is unending: the Friends assist the Cathedral to maintain and restore the fabric of the building.

The Friends have recently announced a major donation of £10,000 in support of the nave roof campaign, plus a further £3,000 which released £30,000 matched funding from Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust. [Read our press release]
